Connect Midday to n8n workflows via MCP. Use the MCP Client node to access your financial data in automated workflows and AI agents.

What you can automate

Don't have an API key? Create one in Settings → Developer

Connection details

Use these settings when configuring the MCP Client node in n8n:

Server URL: https://api.midday.ai/mcp
Transport: SSE (Server-Sent Events)
Authentication: Bearer Token
Token: YOUR_API_KEY

Setup steps

  1. 1
    Add MCP Client node

    In your n8n workflow, add the "MCP Client" node from the nodes panel

    Configure the connection

    Enter the Server URL: https://api.midday.ai/mcp

    Select "SSE" as the transport method

    Add authentication

    Get an API key from Settings → Developer and add it as a Bearer Token in the Headers

    Use Midday tools

    Access transactions, invoices, customers, reports, and more through the MCP Client node in your workflows
